Students hoping to study in Canada are feeling the heat most. The government introduced a cap on study permits in 2024, limiting how many international students can enter the country each year.
One shocking discovery was that nearly 50,000 international students who were supposed to be studying in Canada never actually attended their classes. This revelation prompted authorities to crack down harder on student visa applications.
